D-Lay

Growing up in Southern Cali I’d listen to my favorite radio jocks like the Baka Boys and Big Boy’s Naybahood,  I felt that music and radio was what I wanted to do, it what was a passion for me!  In the beginning my mom would drop me off to DJ house parties which I did all through high school and eventually working at The University of Arizona’s KAMP radio (Go Wildcats!).  I then found myself working for another one of my all-time favorites: Art Laboe, doing overnights at Hot 98-3 in Tucson (after tons of begging!).  I then got a job at Radio Campesina’s PLAY 103.9 here in Bakersfield and also worked at iHeart Media and now find myself at a great station working with great people who share my passion here at Energy 95.3!

I love Bakersfield and you can catch my son and me hanging out at our favorite places like Hart Park for a bike ride and fishing or Dewar’s having a couple scoops of Birthday Cake!
