Two States Classify Grocery Clerks As Emergency Workers

- Minnesota and Vermont have officially declared grocery store clerks as emergency workers during the coronavirus outbreak.
- The designation puts them in the same category as health care workers, law enforcement, first responders, and other ‘essential’ personnel.
