Two-Thirds of Americans Treat Their Pets Better Than Themselves

This does not surprise me one bit: people treat their pets better than they do themselves.

Two-thirds of Americans who took a recent survey said that they treat their pets really, REALLY well. There’s a happy twist, though!

The survey of 2,000 American pet parents, conducted ahead of National Pet Appreciation Week in early June, revealed 67% prioritize their pet over themselves — but results revealed it’s a reciprocal relationship.

Eight in 10 respondents said taking care of their pet actively encourages them to take better care of themselves.
