There is no doubt that coffee can bring people joy, but a new study says that the amount you drink may make a difference.

The European study, backed by the Institute for Scientific Information on Coffee, found that coffee can help with the winter blues.

While respondents of the survey mentioned feeling sadder during colder, darker months, some reported that they drank coffee in an effort to boost mood and energy.

The survey confirmed that consuming coffee every four hours  “sustained improvement of mood.”
