Sharks Almost Went Extinct 19 Million Years Ago

The world’s entire population of sharks was almost wiped out about 19 million years ago!
Researchers with Yale University say fossils collected from the ocean floor reveal the number of sharks was once 10 times greater than it is today! 90 percent of the ocean predators suddenly disappeared in “the biggest extinction that sharks have ever seen.”
