New Words Being Added to the Dictionary

Ooo, I love good word news. I’m a nerd and LOVE when new things are added to the dictionary because-shock shock-I’m also that person that loves crosswords and Scrabble.

Anyway, new words are being added to the Merriam-Webster dictionary and include:

Dad Bod

Faux-hawk

Air Fryer

FTW, which did not always mean “For the Win”

TBH, or “To Be Honest”

and a bunch of pandemic-related words like Superspreader, Breakthrough, Long Covid, and Vaccine Passport.
