Starting this fall, eating lunch at a California school will cost nothing.
All 6.2 million public school students will have the option to eat school lunch for free, regardless of family income.
Statistics show that about 60% of students in California qualify for free lunch. However, experts believe the number of kids that need help with food is significantly higher.
