Disneyland Announces They Will Reopen July 17th

The Disneyland Resort announced today that they will officially open the Disneyland Park and California Adventure on July 17th pending approval by local and state officials. The resort has been closed since March due to the Covid-19 Pandemic.

In addition the resort plans to reopen the Downtown Disney shopping district on July 9th and the Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa and Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel on July 23rd. Capacity will be limited, and guests will be asked to make reservations in advance, Walt Disney Company said in a statement.

2020 marks the 65th anniversary of the original Disney park. Further information on how the resort will protect social distancing will be released on a future date.
