Dave Chappelle honored with Mark Twain Prize at Kennedy Center

CHAPPELLE’S CELEBRITY FRIENDS WERE THERE TO HONOR HIM WITH PERFORMANCES FROM COMMON, ERYKAH BADU, JOHN LEGEND AND MORE.
On Sunday, comedian Dave Chappelle was honored at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, where he received the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor.
Chappelle, who attended the event with his wife and kids, was showered with love from celebrity friends like Tiffany Haddish, Kenan Thompson, Lorne Michaels and Morgan Freeman.
Chappelle joins a number of notable names as the recipient of the Mark Twain Prize, including Whoopi Goldberg, Eddie Murphy, Richard Pryor and Will Ferrell, to name a few.
