California Summers Are So Hot…

How hot is California this summer?  So hot, the sun melted a shield designed to protect vehicles from the sun.

A Fresno resident has posted photos of his windshield sun shade, which appears to be melted and drooped over his vehicle’s steering wheel and dashboard.

The photo was actually taken when Fresno reached 114 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. It marked the hottest July 11th in the city since 1896, officials say.

Check out the story and photo HERE!

What’s the hottest temperature you’ve lived through? Do you think Bakersfield will just get hotter each summer?
