*sob* This story is so sweet!

94-year-old Martha Tucker has finally gotten her dream wedding dress-70 years after she was denied going into a bridal shop.

Martha and her husband Lehman were married in 1952, but Martha never got to wear her dream wedding dress with white lace. Unfortunately, the couple were married during an era of racial segregation and Martha was unable to do wedding dress shopping that many take for granted.

This past July, Martha’s granddaughter took her to David’s Bridal to finally wear her dream wedding dress.

Lehman passed away in 1975, sadly, but Martha vowed that she would one day wear a dress worthy of their marriage.

“When I first put on that dress, I was just so very excited,” Martha said to CNN. “It was like I was getting married all over again. When I saw myself in the mirror, I was shocked. I said to myself, ‘Who is that?’ I can’t even explain the feeling I got seeing myself in the wedding dress.”

This is the SWEETEST. Read more HERE!
