80-Pound Cougar Removed from NYC Apartment

Sure, we ALL want to be that rich, eccentric weirdo who keeps large wild animals as pets. However, let’s not do that.

An 80-pound cougar named Sasha was recently removed from a New York City apartment.

Sasha received veterinary care at the Bronx Zoo and will now reside at the Turpentine Creek Refuge in Arkansas. 

Sasha’s owners realized that a small Bronx apartment probably was not the best living quarters for a cougar and surrendered her.
