Erik Fox

Erik Fox was born and raised in Orange County where he spent most of his free time hitting the waves as a stereo-typical Southern California surfer boy. While in college he was studying psychology when an required elective found him behind the board of the local college radio station where he got bit by the radio bug and knew what he wanted to do for the rest of his life. Erik has been a part of the local Bakersfield radio community for the past 26 years where he has been lucky to get to know and love the community which he calls home. He loves animals and has 2 dogs and a cat.

Erik is a FAA licensed private pilot and likes to fly all over California whenever he can

In his free times he likes to watch old classic movies especially movies by Charlie Chaplin and Alfred Hitchcock and will also always geek out on everything Star Wars. He’s also a big fan of craft beers and wines and will always find an excuse to sneak away for a day trip to Paso Robles. Erik also likes to play bass guitar while unwinding and has also been a referee for women’s roller derby across the country.
